Previous Experience in Pharmacology

She began as a Scientist from 2010 to 2011, then progressed to Senior Scientist from 2012 to 2013, and later served as Principal Scientist from 2014 to 2016. After her tenure at Merrimack, she joined Torque as Principal Scientist from 2016 to 2020. These roles provided her with extensive experience in the field of pharmacology and toxicology.

Elena Geretti holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, which she completed from 2001 to 2004. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from Università degli Studi di Trieste, studying from 1994 to 2000. Her educational background equips her with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, complemented by her expertise in digital pathology and single-cell image-analysis techniques.
