Dr. Loren Rourke completed her general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, which laid the foundation for her expertise in surgical procedures. She then pursued the Susan G. Komen Interdisciplinary Breast Fellowship at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, further specializing in breast surgical oncology. To complement her medical expertise, Dr. Rourke also earned a Master's in Health Care Management from the Harvard T.C. Chan School of Public Health.

Before her current role, Dr. Loren Rourke served as the Chief Surgical Officer and VP of Clinical Operations for McKesson’s US Oncology Network. Her responsibilities included overseeing surgical practices and clinical operations within one of the largest networks of community-based oncology practices in the United States. Additionally, she held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Sure Inc., where she was responsible for guiding the company’s medical strategies and clinical functions.

Dr. Loren Rourke is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist. Her specialized training in breast oncology was attained during her fellowship at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the leading cancer treatment and research institutions in the world. Personal Background and Interests
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Loren Rourke now lives in The Woodlands, Texas with her 12-year-old twins and three cats. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys ballroom and Latin dancing, gardening, and reading books. These hobbies provide a well-rounded balance to her demanding career in medicine.
