Earlier in his career, he was a Senior QC Inspector at Flint Energy Services for eight months in 2011, working on the Suncor Firebag Project.

Education and Expertise

Amjad Ababneh holds two Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He studied at the University of Alberta from 2002 to 2005 and at Western Michigan University from 1999 to 2001. His educational background supports his expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pressure equipment integrity assessment, codes, and regulations. He is skilled in conducting root cause failure analysis of pressure equipment to enhance safety and efficiency.

Integrity Management and Compliance

In his role, Amjad Ababneh manages the Management of Change (MOC) process for pressure equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. He has created and maintained corrosion manuals to support the plant's lifecycle management.
