During his time at Entain, Stephen led the migration of indirect tax systems from legacy J D Edwards and Oracle R12 ERP systems to Oracle Cloud. He contributed to the establishment and growth of a new indirect tax team, expanding it from one to five members. Additionally, he enhanced processes and controls for Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT, ensuring the company met evolving regulatory standards.

Stephen Hodgson has a strong educational background in taxation and accounting. He studied at the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and achieved the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification. He also completed the ADIT International Tax program with distinction, earning the International Tax Affiliate (ADIT) designation. Furthermore, he is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
