Michelle Yockelson holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she studied Civil and Human Rights Law from 2014 to 2017. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies and Politics from Juniata College, studying from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, she completed a Human Rights Law and Globalization program at the University of the Gambia in 2010. Her educational background supports her expertise in training management, legal frameworks, and human rights advocacy.
Previous Work Experience
Prior to her current role at Epiq, Michelle Yockelson worked as an Associate Attorney at Special Counsel from 2018 to 2019. She also served as the Director of Communications at the Renewable Energy Scholarship Foundation from 2018 to 2020, where she operated in Oregon and Washington. Yockelson has experience as a Pro Bono Attorney at Catholic Charities - Refugee and Immigration Services in 2018 and as a Legal Extern at the ACLU of Indiana in 2016. Additionally, she has been involved with Healthy Democracy as an Assistant Moderator since 2018.
Training and Development Initiatives
In her role as Training Manager, Michelle Yockelson has developed a remote training strategy that successfully transitioned an in-person training program to a remote format. She has led the implementation of new eLearning software, including Adobe Captivate Prime LMS and Camtasia, guiding her team in mastering these tools. Yockelson has also conducted change management training, which involved auditing the content library and developing new solutions to support organizational changes.
