Current Role at Equashield
Allen Saltzman serves as the Manager of Quality Assurance at EQUASHIELD®, a position he has held since 2023. In this role, he manages the Quality Management System for the company's US operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as 21 CFR 11, 820, and cGMP. He leads process improvement initiatives focused on data-driven success and achieving excellent audit results.
Previous Experience
Prior to his current role, Allen worked at EQUASHIELD® as a Quality Assurance Operations Specialist from 2021 to 2023. He also held the position of Population Health Operations Manager at Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc from 2020 to 2021. His earlier experience includes serving as a P-QIP Operations Manager Trainee at Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc from 2018 to 2020, and as an Advocacy Intern at Partners In Health from 2016 to 2018.

Allen has a history of volunteer work, including a position with UNICEF in 2015 for ten months and volunteering at Lourdes Hospital for three months in the same year. He also worked as a Physician-Patient Observer at Central Orthopedic Group for two months in 2013. His early career included a role as a Cashier at Plainview Family Pharmacy Inc from 2012 to 2014.
Education and Training
Allen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Anthropology from Binghamton University, where he studied from 2014 to 2018. He is currently participating in The Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety - The Telluride Experience, organized by Medstar Health's Institute for Quality and Safety, which he has been attending since 2018.
