Vince is a Senior Consultant in the Internal Audit domain of SGV & Co. (EY Philippines). He is a Certified Public Accountant, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Ateneo de Naga University having a demonstrated history of working with both Government and Corporate sectors involving multinational companies in different industries. He is skilled in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Taxation and Accounting.Being an Internal Audit resource, he was able to gain knowledge and experiences outside the field of finance and accounting; he was introduced to other areas of a business and an organization taken as a whole. He was able to explore the Operational side of an entity, the Compliance processes, and extending up to the support areas such as Information Technology. Exploring as well, emerging trends and practices in the global business setup, engaging in Sustainability and Cybersecurity to name a few.The experiences he gained have moulded him to become a well-rounded professional with diverse skillset within his arsenal. He was able to work with both the Government and the Private Sector and engaged with people in diverse culture from Local to International clients— working with different set of people in every engagement have nurtured him on how he deal and handle situations, and adjusts, as needed, whilst maintaining professionalism.He enjoys immersing himself to the operations and processes of a business and working with different groups of professionals. He loves learning new things and expanding horizons. His experiences as an Internal Auditor gave him a holistic view of how a business operates from one process to another, not just focusing solely on the finance and accounting side, but rather, taking the organization’s entirety.
