Shafizadeh held multiple roles at eBay Inc from 2004 to 2014. He served as the Senior Manager in the Buyer Experience Program Management Office, then as the Global Product Lead of Catalog and Classification Infrastructure. He later became the Head of North America Trust Experiences and the Head of Product & Program Management for eBay Digital. His contributions included leading efforts that focused on structured data, search, and product simplicity during a critical turnaround period for the company.
Educational Background
Shafizadeh earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, where he studied from 1995 to 1999. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, completed from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial Management from École Supérieure de Commerce Et de Management - ESCEM, studying there from 1999 to 2000.

Shafizadeh began his career as a Research Associate and later as a Research Lead/Lecturer at the University of Washington from 1995 to 2000.
