Prior to her current role, Thomopoulou worked at e-Travel S.A. in various capacities. She started as an IT Recruiter from 2011 to 2012 and later transitioned to an HR Generalist role from 2012 to 2013. During her tenure, she implemented innovative HR solutions that supported the sale of over 10 million flight tickets in 2017. Currently, she also holds the position of Head of Human Resources at e-Travel S.A., a role she has maintained since 2012.

Marina Thomopoulou holds a Bachelor's degree from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Additionally, she earned an Executive MBA in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Piraeus, completing her studies from 2016 to 2018.
