Earlier, he earned an Engineer’s Degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Strasbourg, where he studied Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Technology, and Law & Intellectual Property from 1971 to 1973.

Before his current roles, Bertrand Gellie worked as a CEIPI coach for EQE candidates at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) from 2000 to 2012. His tenure lasted 12 years in Strasbourg, Grand Est, France, where he provided guidance and support to candidates preparing for the EQE.
