Additionally, he achieved a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London from 2016 to 2020 and a Certificate in Global Affairs from New York University from 2014 to 2015.

In the early stages of his career, Jesus Goya worked at Nortel Networks as a Sales Engineer from 2000 to 2001 in London, United Kingdom. He then joined Schlumberger as a Technical Consultant and Project Manager from 2001 to 2004 in the Paris Area, France. He also completed a traineeship as a System Engineer at the European Space Agency in 2000.
