About David Hinton
After pouring my heart and soul into a new EdTech idea that I had to enable children to connect at a different level with their teachers and caretakers, I managed to launch the Evoke Edtech startup. This was back way back in 2017. My great passion has always been to make the impossible possible. Business owners have to take action and decide to use technology intelligently as a tool to empower humans to achieve their educational goals where it matters most, whilst protecting the children we serve and inspire. But I didn't accomplish all this on my own. A few years prior to 2017, I was fortunate enough to have gained the support of British academic and business leadership institutions. It all materialised thanks to the unwavering support of the staff at the University of South Wales Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies (CEMET). Together we were able to innovate with a new British EdTech invention: the Evoke Edtech IHC Console. This compact and mobile console empowers teachers and carers to use 3D Holographic avatars in their practice. Using the latest 3-D/holographic technology, educators become relatable AVATARS while interacting with children aged 4-11. They can then instruct them on a wide range of subjects and concepts within different contexts. My invention seeks to empower teachers and practitioners to adopt and incorporate cutting-edge holographic technology into their practice. 2021 has been a challenging year, but it is also the year of transformation and new beginnings in more ways than one. As a founder and a leader of a British EdTech enterprise, I am steering the company into a brand new image, vision and strategy so that my invention can serve more organizations both in the UK and abroad.
