Since 2016, Xiaobing Feng has been serving as the General Counsel at ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, P. R. China. He was the Vice Chairman of the IPO Asian Practice Committee at the Intellectual Property Owners Association from 2013 to 2016 in the United States and served as Chief Asia Pacific Intellectual Property Attorney at ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd. from 2012 to 2016 in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, he was an Attorney at Law from 2009 to 2012 and a Patent Attorney from 2005 to 2009 at Exxon Mobil Corporation. Xiaobing also worked as a Research Engineer at ExxonMobil Chemical Company from 1999 to 2005, and as an R&D Specialist I at Honeywell UOP from 1997 to 1999. His early career included a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh from 1995 to 1997.
Education and Expertise
Xiaobing Feng holds multiple advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, including a Ph.D. (1995), M.S. (1994), and M.Phil. (1994). He also earned a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2005, and has a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering (Organic Chemistry) from East China University of Science and Technology.
