About John Milanovich
John Milanovich has worked with family offices for over 25 years. He started his career at US Trust’s Ultra Net Worth consulting arm CTC Consulting, and he was a founding member of Windermere Investment Associates, a boutique family office consulting firm. Later, he worked as an analyst for a micro-cap hedge fund before joining Credit Suisse as a broker. At Credit Suisse, John managed a portfolio of over $150 million in equities and structured long-term hedges for concentrated stock positions of over $300 million. John left Credit Suisse to start RightPSI Inc., a manufacturing company in the automotive aftermarket space. His company was selected as a Popular Mechanics Editor’s Choice and received an Air Force Contract to develop a new tire valve stem for the F-16 Fighting Falcon. After 10 years in manufacturing, he returned to finance as Director Business Development for an FinTech option trading company where he traded over 100,000 option contracts and $80 million worth of stock. Most recently, John worked with large family offices reviewing their investment portfolios and advising on large direct investments. John has a BA from Whitman College, and MBA from Willamette University and is a Level 2 Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. He is an 2022-23 Adjunct Professor to Carroll College School of Business teaching Financial Management. Milanovich resides in Montana and is an avid outdoorsman, being a past State Chairman of Trout Unlimited. Passionate about finance, meeting interesting people, and all things Montana.
