Michael Gibson is the Senior Director, Capital Markets Agency MBS and Early Funding at Fannie Mae, located in Washington, D.C. In this role, he oversees Fannie Mae’s Agency MBS Conduit, providing liquidity to lenders who sell loans and mortgage-backed securities pools to the organization. He is responsible for buying Agency MBS TBAs and engaging in various hedging activities. Additionally, Gibson manages the pooling of fixed and adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) owned by Fannie Mae for sale to investors. Beyond these duties, he helps oversee the Early Funding platform, accelerating the process for approved lenders to sell loans and pools to Fannie Mae.
