Pedro Ribeiro has been employed at Faurecia Interior Systems since 2013, where he serves as a Development Engineer in Rüsselsheim, Germany. In this role, he acts as an interface between quality, engineering, program teams, and manufacturing. His responsibilities include product optimization, failure analysis, change definition, mock-ups, validation, and tool implementation follow-up. He has contributed to the development of various automotive components, including real and artificial leather processes for manual wrapping of instrument panels.

Prior to his current position, Pedro Ribeiro worked at Faurecia Interior Systems from 2011 to 2013 as a Development Engineer in Peine, Germany. During this time, he contributed to the development of the Volkswagen up! dashboard and door panels, which received the World Car of the Year award in 2012. His work also included involvement in the design of door panels for the Opel Crossland X and Citroën C3 Aircross, which were finalists for the World Car Design of the Year 2018.

Pedro Ribeiro earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro, where he studied from 2004 to 2010.
