About Michael Bagnasco
I have nearly 4 years of experience of programming in C++. Throughout that time, I've learned important software engineering concepts such as encapsulation and data hiding. In addition, I understand the importance of algorithm efficiency, code readability, and software security to ensure low-cost, secure, and efficient software.To supplement my education, I routinely take courses through udacity, coursera, and iTunes U and have learned subjects ranging from machine learning, neural networks, app development, and product design. On top of my academia, I volunteer at my school's observatory where I set up and operate a 24 inch telescope and several smaller 8 inch telescopes. In addition to providing an educational experience for visitors at the observatory, we operate an SBIG monochrome CCD camera to capture long exposure images of deep space objects such as the Orion Nebula, the Eagle Nebula, and the Andromeda Galaxy
