About Nicholas De La Cruz
I’m currently an Associate Software Engineer in the Leap program at Fidelity Investments. I aim to use my technical and interpersonal skills to connect people. I have experience with Angular development through my time as an intern and contractor working on NetBenefits Mobile for Fidelity. During this time in Fidelity, I gained an interest in digital accessibility. I also have a solid understanding of agile methodologies. My experiences of working on scrum and kanban teams and spearheading an agile transformation of an IT support team provide me with insights that drive my decisions as a software engineer. I am also proficient in Java and Python with my experiences in app development and data analytics. In January 2023, I obtained my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, cooking, and playing flute or guitar.
