Chuchun Tsai has served as an Associate Principal Regulatory Training Specialist at FINRA since 2019. In this role, Tsai provides UI/UX feedback to the technology team on various FINRA applications. Tsai is responsible for writing and implementing surveys in the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) to gather user feedback aimed at enhancing training materials. Additionally, Tsai manages all aspects of webinar productions related to application launches, which includes scripting, developing presentation decks, moderating, recording, and analyzing feedback. Tsai also develops and tests new workflow processes and course templates for the enterprise LMS.
Education and Expertise
Chuchun Tsai holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University, which was completed between 2009 and 2011. Prior to this, Tsai earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Curriculum and Instructional Design from the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2009. Tsai also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing the degree from 2000 to 2004. This educational background supports Tsai's expertise in regulatory training and instructional design.

Before joining FINRA, Chuchun Tsai accumulated extensive experience in education and training roles. Tsai worked as a Technology Education Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools from 2004 to 2015. Following that, Tsai served as a Computer Science and Technology Educator at Montgomery County Public Schools from 2015 to 2017. Tsai also worked as a Senior Technical Trainer at Hughes Network Systems from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Tsai was a BOTBALL Robotics Instructor at a Robotics Competition Provider from 2017 to 2019 and held the position of Northern Regional Site Manager for Virginia at the Technology Student Association from 2007 to 2015.
Training and Development Initiatives
In the role at FINRA, Chuchun Tsai creates monthly just-in-time training videos using Adobe Captivate, catering to over 1,000 employees. Tsai develops resource pages in Confluence from scratch and reorganizes training content for multiple FINRA applications.
