Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, studying from 1984 to 1988. She also studied Foreign Exchange at the U.S. Department of State from 1981 to 1982. This diverse education supports her expertise in regulatory coordination and financial compliance.

Before joining FINRA, Kathleen Bisaccia worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an Assistant Director and Branch Chief in Enforcement from 2001 to 2006.
