Previous Work Experience
Megan Shearer has held several internships and research positions prior to her current role at FINRA. She worked as an AI Research Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2019 for three months, focusing on artificial intelligence applications in finance. Additionally, she served as a Visiting Research Fellow at IEX, the Investors Exchange, in 2018 for six months, and participated in the IPAM RIPS program at UCLA for two months in 2015. She also gained research experience as an REU at Washington University in St. Louis in 2014 for three months.
