Tom Kuczajda has served as Senior Counsel in the Enforcement department at FINRA since 2015. In this role, he provides interpretative advice on federal securities laws and FINRA rules and regulations to department staff. He also plays a key role in devising and assisting in training programs for department investigators and junior attorneys. Kuczajda actively participates in both FINRA staff and external training programs, contributing to the development of compliance and enforcement standards within the organization.

Before joining FINRA, Tom Kuczajda worked at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as Special Counsel from 2005 to 2015. His legal career also includes a five-year tenure as an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 2000 to 2005. Earlier in his career, he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Steadman at the D.C. Court of Appeals for one year. Additionally, he gained experience as a Summer Associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd in 1998.

Tom Kuczajda earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgetown University Law Center, where he studied from 1996 to 1999. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan, which he completed from 1991 to 1995.
