Work at First Nations Health Authority

Brenda Isaac has been employed at the First Nations Health Authority as a Registered Dental Therapist since 2014. In this role, she focuses on providing dental care and support within the Chilliwack, BC community. Her responsibilities include training and supporting COHI Aides, who act as liaisons in various communities to promote oral health initiatives. Additionally, she worked for the Government of the Northwest Territories as a Dental Therapist for one year in Behchoko from 1998 to 1999. Education and Expertise

Brenda Isaac holds a Diploma of Dental Therapy from the National School of Dental Therapy, which she completed from 1976 to 1978. She further enhanced her qualifications by obtaining a Certificate in Aboriginal Leadership from the Justice Institute of BC, studying from 2010 to 2011. This combination of education has equipped her with the skills necessary to address the unique oral health needs of Aboriginal communities.

In her current position, Brenda Isaac actively participates in community engagement initiatives.
