About Lyanne Alfaro
I tell stories about what’s next in the world of technology, business and entrepreneurship. With more than a $3.2 trillion GDP, I’m especially passionate about exploring the Latino influence in the world of business. I have even launched a weekly newsletter and podcast on Apple and Spotify all about it called Moneda Moves: monedamoves.substack.com/ I’ve reported via emerging platforms in English and Spanish, worked on audience engagement, strategy, execution and enjoy taking stories from start to completion. At Google, I lead content for social media across Developer Relations programs, tools and initiatives. Most recently, I was at Nasdaq where we reimagined the way we tell stories via multimedia on social. On any given day, I hosted live segments spotlighting entrepreneurs and thought leaders, booked, produced live video content, and for Nasdaq's first podcast: I was also Co-Lead for our Latinx ERG, Adelante! Our team led programming for our Latinx employee base and extended community through education, speaking engagements and mentorship. Our storytelling work at Nasdaq on social was recognized by the likes of The Webby Awards, Digiday and PRNews. While I was at CNBC, my team’s social coverage earned a Best in Business Award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. My pieces have appeared in CNBC, Business Insider, NBC Latino, Distintas Latitudes and Latino Rebels. I’m available for freelance assignments: lyannealfaro@gmail.com
