He began as an Information Security Analyst I from 2013 to 2015, then advanced to Information Security Threat Analyst II - Shift Lead from 2015 to 2016. He continued his career as Security Operations Manager from 2016 to 2017, and later served as a Sales Engineer from 2017 to 2020 before becoming Sales Engineering Manager in 2020.

Eric George holds an Associate’s Degree in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management from Trident Technical College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a Security Emphasis from Western Governors University. Additionally, he has completed the Cisco Networking Academy program at Central Carolina Technical College. He holds over 10 industry certifications, including the CISSP.
Role at M3AAWG
Since 2020, Eric George has been actively involved with the Messaging, Malware, Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) as Technical Chair. In this role, he focuses on addressing technical challenges related to malware and mobile abuse. He also serves as a Technical Malware Co-Chair, contributing to discussions and initiatives aimed at improving industry standards and practices.
