Before her tenure at FranklinCovey, Christi Phillips held various pivotal roles across different organizations. She was with Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2020, where she worked as a Ph.D. student in Human Resource Development and served as the Assistant Director of Program Development at the Center for Executive Development. Between 2012 and 2017, she was Sr. Organizational Development Consultant & Talent Coach at CHI St. Luke's Health. Phillips also spent two years at Noble Drilling as a Learning & Development Specialist, and worked as an Independent Contractor/External Consultant at Phillips Organizational Development Consulting from 2003 to 2021.

Christi Phillips has an extensive academic background. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University between 2010 and 2020.
