Adelle Pomeroy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from The University of British Columbia, where she studied from 2007 to 2011. She also pursued further education at Portland State University, obtaining a Certificate in Comics Studies in Design and Applied Arts from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, she completed her high school education at Lincoln High School, graduating with a diploma in 2007.
Professional Experience Prior to Free Geek
Before joining Free Geek, Adelle Pomeroy held several positions that contributed to her expertise in digital inclusion and community engagement. She worked as a Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University from 2012 to 2013, where she gained research experience. Following that, she served as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Wallace Medical Concern from 2013 to 2017, where she managed communications and outreach efforts.
