Shana Herman is a basketball coach with extensive experience in coaching and education. She currently holds multiple positions, including Head Coach at Grace Church School and Youth Assistant Coach at The Packer Collegiate Institute, while also working with the New York Liberty and Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp.
Current Coaching Roles
Shana Herman currently serves as a Basketball Coach at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. since 2016. In addition to this role, she is the Head Coach at Grace Church School and has held this position for eight years. She also works as a Youth Assistant Coach at The Packer Collegiate Institute, where she has been since 2019. Furthermore, she is involved with the New York Liberty as a Basketball Clinician, contributing her expertise to the development of young athletes.
Previous Experience in Education and Counseling
Before her current roles, Shana Herman worked at Kean University as a Counselor from 2009 to 2011. She also served as a Learning Facilitator at the Hyacinth Aids Foundation from 2013 to 2016 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. These positions allowed her to develop skills in mentoring and supporting individuals in educational and health-related contexts.

Shana Herman studied at Rutgers University–New Brunswick from 2013 to 2016, where she focused on her academic development. Prior to that, she attended Kean University from 2011 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology. This educational background has equipped her with knowledge applicable to her coaching and teaching roles.
