Prior to his current position, he served as Regional Design Technology Leader for the Northeast and Canada regions from 2018 to 2019, and as Associate and Regional Design Technology Director for the Southwest from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining Gensler, Andre Carvalho worked in various roles that contributed to his expertise in design technology. Additionally, he was the Operations Chair for the Toronto BIM Community (tBIMc) from 2016 to 2019, where he contributed to the advancement of BIM practices.
