Prior to her current role, Christi Van Maanen worked at Gensler in various capacities. From 2019 to 2022, she served as the Business Development Director. Before that, from 2016 to 2019, she was the Co-Studio Director and Business Development Manager in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area. Additionally, she worked as a Report Writer and Data Specialist for Space Management Software, Wisp, from 2005 to 2009, and as an Account Manager and Implementation Specialist for the same software from 2009 to 2016.
Educational Background
Christi Van Maanen has a solid educational foundation in Management and Information Technology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Viterbo University, where she studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, she completed an Associate degree in Information Technology at Western Technical College in 1997. Additionally, she attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1994 to 1996.
Early Career Experience
Before joining Gensler, Christi Van Maanen gained valuable experience in various technical roles. She worked as a Systems Engineer at Net.Com from 1997 to 2000 and as a Network Administrator at Inland: We Power Great Packaging from 2000 to 2003. Christi also served as a Systems Administrator at Mathy Construction Company from 2003 to 2005. These positions contributed to her technical expertise and understanding of systems management.
