Educational Background

Lee Jones earned a bachelor's degree in a self-designed major at Dartmouth College, focusing on psychology, anthropology, and education. He attended medical school at Columbia University and completed a psychiatry residency and chief residency at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Additionally, he has undertaken a consultation-liaison fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and a research fellowship at UC San Diego. He also studied at Harvard University, achieving the Senior Executive Fellow position in 2000.

Achievements and Contributions

Lee Jones has achieved several notable accomplishments. He serves on the AAMC Board of Directors and is AAMC's representative to the Coalition for Physician Accountability. He is a past chair of the AAMC Group on Student Affairs National Steering Committee and is recognized as an expert in holistic admissions. Furthermore, he has been a national educator on medical education and DACA.
