About Holden Beggs
I love using new technologies to improve people’s lives and empower our next leaders. My background is in nanotechnology. I'm currently helping build Vancouver's innovation ecosystem into a global centre of gravity. I've taught over three thousand university students across several universities on making an impact, led lab and software teams at Harvard and Waterloo, and founded new initiatives across North America. My projects have been featured by BBC News, Discovery Channel Canada, and CBC. I won the 2020 International James Dyson Design Award runner-up prize. And I mix a mean cocktail.
