About Ken Loveless
As a co-founder and Managing Partner of Founders Circle Capital, we’ve built a growth-stage investment firm that specializes in solving liquidity challenges for management teams, employees and early-stage investors. We differentiate by delivering service in two forms—liquidity and leadership. For employee liquidity, Founders Circle works by invitation only of management and the blessing of their boards. We’re asked to structure a variety of programs—from one-off common stock purchases from founders and CXOs, to employee tendered offers, to preferred stock purchases from early financial backers to executive loans—all directed towards keeping your best people and reenergizing them for long-term company building. For leadership development, Founders Circle has a range of programs for you and your CXOs to scale themselves so they can scale their companies. All in the name of increasing the probability of your company's outsized success. It’s why we like to say that Founders Circle “Invests in People”. I've had the great privilege of delivering these kinds of services to category-leading companies such as Anaplan (PLAN), Carbon Black (CBLK), ForeScout (FSCT), HotelTonight (Airbnb), Kabam (Netmarble), Looker (GOOG), PillPack (AMZN), Veracode (CA), Workday (WDAY), and Xiaomi (1810.HK). I previously spent 15 years at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), most recently as Managing Director at SVB Capital, working closely with prominent venture firms including Accel, Battery Ventures, Bessemer, NEA and Sequoia and enduring companies such as Android, Facebook, LinkedIn and Zendesk. I also led the development of a multivariate predictive model that identified the highest-performing venture-backed companies, which became the basis for Founders Circle’s investment strategy. I’d love to talk to you about how we can invest in you and your people; even in advance of a financial transaction.
