Hendry Helen worked at World Vision as a Communication Officer for the iLIVE/ANCP Project from 2019 to 2020. In this position, she was responsible for communication strategies and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this, she was a Senior Program Officer at the World University Service of Canada (WUSC - EUMC) from 2015 to 2018, where she managed various programs in Sri Lanka.
Education and Training
Hendry Helen has pursued specialized training in gender leadership and disaster risk management. She completed the Gender Leadership Program at Oxfam Asia from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, she studied Community Based Disaster Risk Management at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre in 2006, which lasted for 11 months. This education has equipped her with the skills necessary for her roles in community participation and disaster risk reduction.
