Yunus Abdulai has held multiple roles at Global Communities, currently serving as Chief of Party for the USAID and Resiliency in Northern Ghana Project since 2018. His previous positions include Deputy Chief of Party from 2015 to 2017 and Acting Chief of Party for a brief period in 2018. He initially joined Global Communities as the Agriculture and Livelihoods Technical Lead for the same project from 2014 to 2015. His extensive experience in this organization highlights his commitment to enhancing community resilience in Northern Ghana.
Current Role at Chemonics International
Since 2019, Yunus Abdulai has been working as the Managing Director for the USAID and Ghana Justice Sector Reform Case Tracking Activity at Chemonics International. Yunus Abdulai holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University for Development Studies, where he studied from 2000 to 2004. He furthered his education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, earning a Master of Science degree from 2011 to 2013. Previous Experience in Development Projects
Before his current roles, Yunus Abdulai gained significant experience in various capacities. He worked at Technoserve as a Senior Business Advisor and previously as a Business Advisor, contributing to projects in West and Southern Africa from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, he served as a Project Facilitator at CARE USA from 2008 to 2010, focusing on USAID and natural resource-based enterprises. This diverse experience has equipped him with valuable insights into project implementation and community development.
