About Christina Kelmon

As a Founder I am honored to have been recognized on lists such as the Inc. 200 Female Founders and as a Forbes Next 1000 recipient. I am also proud to be a member of the Tory Burch Foundation and to have been nominated for the Beacon Award and honored as an Agent of Change. Additionally, I am grateful to have won the Don Julio Entrepreneur Fund award and to be part of the ForbesWomen community. As the Co-Founder of syndicate venture capital fund BLXVC, I oversee strategic planning and relationship cultivation, aiming to empower women entrepreneurs and foster inclusion in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. During my career I have led the raise of over $50M for small to medium sized businesses. Early in my venture career, I gained invaluable experience on the private placements team at a boutique investment firm in San Francisco, contributing to raising $5 billion in investment capital for clients. Noteworthy transactions included BT, Google, Yahoo!, IAC, Hearst Corporation, Walt Disney Company, Sony, Phillips Electronics, IBM, and Intel. Prior to my venture roles, I directed Sales for a Kleiner Perkins backed mom-focused commerce company (acquired), spearheading partnerships with industry giants like Netflix, Target, and Disney, consistently driving significant revenue growth. This experience laid a solid foundation for my subsequent ventures. As a passion project, I co-founded Vamigas, a wellness brand driven by my heritage available in over 1000 retail locations nationwide, including Target, Whole Foods, JCP, Nordstrom, Thrive Market, and Anthropologie. My professional journey commenced with an internship under California Congresswoman Barbara Lee. I am passionate about leveraging my experiences to encourage others and make a positive impact in the world. Each step of my journey has equipped me with valuable insights and skills that I am eager to share and apply in future endeavors.
