Before joining GLOBO, Whitney Douglass worked at MasterWord Services, where she held multiple roles including Training and Development Specialist and Manager of Compliance and Quality Assurance from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, she served as a Medical Interpreter/Translator at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2010 to 2013, where she was the first full-time staff American Sign Language Interpreter.
Education and Expertise
Whitney Douglass studied at Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from 2005 to 2009. She holds an Advanced certification from the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) as an American Sign Language interpreter, demonstrating her expertise in the field of language access.

Douglass has been actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving language access and reducing health disparities. She has collaborated with Title VI experts to consult on programs for hospitals.
