About Nikhil P.
I'm a researcher working at the intersection of deep learning, visual perception and neuroscience. I take inspiration from how biological vision works to build more robust and general artificial vision systems. I completed my PhD in the Simoncelli Lab for Computational Vision at NYU and was also a part of the Flatiron Center for Computational Neuroscience during this time. Prior to this I graduated from Stanford University in 2016 with a BS in Electrical Engineering (focus in Signal Processing) and an MS in Computational and Mathematical Engineering with a specialization in computational neuroscience.
