About Jerome Healy
I have worked as a solicitor at the Government Legal Department since June 2009. In common with most government lawyers, I have worked in a variety of roles and developed a broad range of experience encompassing public law, the creation of new legislation, compliance, human rights, civil litigation and international trade. I am adept at getting up to speed quickly with new areas of law and have developed a valuable suite of transferable skills including analysis, giving clear and practical advice, drafting, negotiating, and management/leadership. I have also contributed to the running of the organisation, sitting on a number of committees and sifting/interviewing for new lawyers
