Unique individual combining Media, Financial Services and Charity directorships in a single person. Over 25 years of professional board level experience in these industries On the media side, I Managing Director of MJP Media and am an Olympus UK Ambassador and Olympus Europe Visionary. I have had over 1500 articles and many thousand images published in the UK and international press as well as having commercial clients. I have published coverage of Formula 1, WTCC, WRC, BTCC, SBK, BSB, BBL Superleague and had other images used on all major TV channels in the UK and have had content in over 300 newspapers and magazines. Lots of experience of online and press media work as well as individual client coverage, brochure production, media campaigns and sponsorship work. I ran the Royal British Legions 2018 Poppy Appeal in Greater Manchester on a temporary secondment after the previous encumbent left. We managed to beat the previous record by over £100,000 raising a total of £960,000 for one of the legion's biggest individual locations and with 40 areas reporting in to me. I really enjoy my charity work and I have been official media and photographer to a number of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Days over many years, run training courses for the Royal Air Force Association and am a trustee and vice-chairman of a successful community charity in Lancashire. In the Financial Services industry I have held both Compliance Director and Investment Director roles as well as call centre compliance experience and compliance manual authoring. I also had corporate and HNW personal client management including being the Investment Director to such major corporate pension schemes as as Reebok, Lotus, McLaren, AI Claims Solutions and Allspeeds Ltd. As a widower and single parent of a son since he was 1 and who now works in the city after masters degrees from both Corpus Christi Cambridge and Imperial College London, I have massive experience in life.
