He also earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History from Trent University from 2008 to 2010. Furthermore, he completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Affairs with a specialization in Intelligence and National Security at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University, from 2011 to 2013. He also achieved the International Baccalaureate (IB) at Pearson College UWC from 2001 to 2004.

Evelyn began his career at Trent University, where he held multiple positions. He worked as a Liaison Officer from 2007 to 2008 for 9 months and later served as an Enrolment Advisor from 2010 to 2011 for 1 year. These roles involved engaging with prospective students and facilitating their transition into the university, contributing to the institution's recruitment and retention efforts.
