He worked at AT&T as a National Project Manager of New Co-location Builds - Network Deployment from 1998 to 1999 in the Toronto, Canada Area. He also served as a Satellite Communications Specialist at Inmarsat from 1999 to 2001 in St. John's, Newfoundland. Additionally, Iveny worked at Rogers Communications in 1998 for 11 months, contributing to Rogers Network Services. His experience in these roles provided him with a strong foundation in network deployment and satellite communications.

Education and Expertise

Mac Iveny studied at the RCC School of Technology, where he achieved a degree in Electronics Engineering from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, he completed his high school education at Inglis Memorial High School, earning his diploma from 1988 to 1994. His educational background in electronics engineering has equipped him with the technical knowledge necessary for his roles in spectrum management and telecommunications.

Career as Marine Engineer

From 2003 to 2006, Mac Iveny worked as a Marine Engineer in Field Services at Rutter Technologies. This position involved worldwide travel and provided him with experience in marine engineering. His work in this capacity contributed to his diverse skill set, which spans telecommunications and engineering.
