Martyn Curtis earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University, where he studied from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, he completed his secondary education at Sutton District High School from 1990 to 1995.
Experience in Fisheries Biology
Martyn Curtis has extensive experience in fisheries biology. He worked as a Fisheries Biologist at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry from 1996 to 2001. He also served as a Senior Fish Habitat Biologist and Environmental Assessment Analyst at the Government of Canada from 2003 to 2009, covering various regions including Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories.
