Prior to his current role, Ahmadoun worked at MUFG as the MIT GOLAB-16 Executive Team Lead for a six-month period in 2015. He also held the position of Head of Operations and Chief AML, Privacy & Compliance Officer at iA Financial Group from 2013 to 2015. His experience in these roles contributed to his expertise in financial operations and compliance.
Educational Background
Med Ahmadoun has an extensive educational background in business and management. He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, completing his studies from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, he participated in the Cross Registration MBA Program at Harvard Business School in 2015. Earlier, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ryerson University, studying from 2002 to 2006.

Before his current position at the Government of Canada, Ahmadoun served as the Director of Financial Analysis and Accountability at the Government of Ontario from 2016 for eight years. In this capacity, he directed financial analysis efforts and ensured accountability within the financial operations of the provincial government.

In his roles, Med Ahmadoun has directed the evolution and implementation of policies aimed at strengthening the professional capacity of the financial community within the federal public service.
