Email: abra5230@mylaurier.ca I spent my high school career in Jamaica, which gave me the opportunity to support the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica with their initiative to urge small business growth on a national scale. While working directly with the small businesses involved, I witnessed the incredible possibilities that small businesses can create and have been interested in small businesses and the venture capital space ever since. I currently work as a VC analyst at Graphite Ventures, where I utilize my finance and due-diligence skills to invest in seed stage companies in the local Canadian ecosystem. I also work part-time as a private equity analyst at Augr Inc., an independent sponsor looking to acquire niche companies with enterprise values ranging from $5 to $50 million. Additionally, I act as an undergraduate teaching assistant in both the business and computer science departments at my university where I teach finance, accounting, business decision models, statistics, intro to programming, and data structures. When not working I enjoy chess, Brazilian JiuJitsu, personal investing, and reading Chinese novels.
