Denis Polancec at Greyledge Technologies
Denis Polancec joined Greyledge Technologies as a Senior Scientist in August 2022. At Greyledge, he will focus on regenerative medicine projects. His work includes immunophenotyping of stromal vascular fraction from micro-fragmented lipoaspirate. Additionally, he will conduct flow cytometry analysis of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells and stem cells from bone marrow aspirates and platelet-rich plasma preparations.
15 Years in Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Laboratory
Before joining Greyledge Technologies, Denis Polancec spent 15 years as the head of the flow cytometry and cell sorting laboratory in a research institute within a pharmaceutical company. During this period, he developed various polychromatic flow cytometry assays and played a key role in establishing and running the flow cytometry laboratories.
Head of Translational Medicine Department
Denis Polancec served as the Head of the Translational Medicine Department at a children’s hospital. His responsibilities included assisting various laboratories with sample preparation, management, acquisition on flow cytometers, and subsequent offline analysis of listmode data files.
Teaching and Mentorship in Flow Cytometry
In addition to his research and managerial roles, Denis Polancec has contributed to academia by teaching graduate and PhD students at various levels of expertise in flow cytometry. His teaching covers both basic and advanced aspects of the field, helping to advance the knowledge and skills of upcoming scientists.
