He also attended Université Claude Bernard (Lyon I), earning a DEUG A in Mathématique Mécanique Physique from 1984 to 1985. Additionally, he studied Aeronautics at Ecole nationale de l'Aviation civile, obtaining a Flight Instructor Aircraft qualification from 2008 to 2009. His early education includes a BAC in Mathematics from Villefontaine (Isère) from 1981 to 1983.

Before joining Groupe Rocher, Thierry Perret worked at Accenture as a Manager conseil from 1989 to 2001. During his 12 years at Accenture in Paris, he gained significant experience in consulting, which laid the foundation for his subsequent roles in IT management and strategy.
