I am a writer and editor working on a nonfiction book about the "Greensboro Massacre", which is under contract with Amistad/HarperCollins. This work is supported by the Virginia Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities. I am the author of The Americano: Fighting with Castro for Cuba's Freedom. It tells the true story of William Morgan who inserted himself into one of the most dramatic events of the 20th century, the Cuban Revolution. What unites the varied jobs and projects below is a deep interest cross cultural communication and the power of stories to change -- or reinforce -- the way we think and act.
