About Jared Voss
As a video producer, editor, and filmmaker focused on effective and compelling storytelling, I am engaged in all aspects of the production process, from writing and directing to videography and editing. I am currently a Producing Editor at HarvardX, Harvard University's cutting-edge online learning platform. At Physicians for Human Rights, I produced educational, advocacy, and documentary videos, often in quick-response to global events. As a freelancer, I have provided production and postproduction services for educational institutions, nonprofits, corporations, small businesses, and production companies, including MIT, CTP, and Management Sciences for Health. I produced my first short film in 2001, and since then have continually had one passion project or another in the works. I also work in film, TV, radio, and theatre as an actor—a proud member of SAG-AFTRA with years of experience in both Boston and NYC. In my spare time enjoy songwriting and playing guitar, a passion I’ve pursued (at one time professionally) for many years. I'm passionate about telling stories through video and film, and am always open to opportunities to utilize my production, post-production, and storytelling skills.
