I am an expert in mass spectrometry-based proteomics using both tandem mass tags (TMT) and data-independent acquisition (DIA). I develop new proteomic technologies and apply them to studies in brain aging and Alzheimer's disease. My background is in synthetic organic chemistry and I have used synthetic probes to study protein structure, reactivity, and function.
